In response to above: I have created an alternative called http://www.spokt.com
It is similar to myfamily.com 1.0 but I think we've made some great improvements in the realm of simplicity.
Conversations have never been easier! It's free - go ahead and try it out!

Beta2.0 for the most part plays well with MACs, however, sometimes it is necessary to quit Safari and go to Firefox to find the buttons to make editing/formatting changes/entries. After a bit of exploration of this forum, I have discovered a few technical tidbits unbeknownst to me previously from the official MF.com site(s).

Since Beta 2.0 offers little - has anyone found alternative companies providing what myfamily used to provide? No Ads, html, ways to organize data. offers little? have you seen the features list for 2.0? ~Chris

Whats the deal with this site not being official? This site is nothing to do with the MyFamily.com company and therefore it is an unofficial forum site. If Myfamily.com setup their own forum for 2.0 BETA, then that would be the 'official forum' and this would be the 'unofficial forum'. ~Chris

This is cool! You say it's "unofficial" but is MyFamily moderating anything here? - Thanks for signing the guestbook - There is one member of staff from myfamily.com Sean, who has forum moderator privileges ~Chris
